Delhi Public School Mysore Road comes under the DPS Educational Society and is managed by the Praxy Fernandes Memorial Trust. This is a CBSE affiliated co-educational school. The school is located in West Bangalore area of Mysore Road in a quiet and serene environment. The campus is spread over a vast area of 8 acres. Currently, the school has a two-storeyed block with 16 rooms and 18 rooms on the first and ground floor respectively. There are 6 washrooms each for boys and girls on both the floors.
The school offers education from Kindergarten to High School.
Admissions
DPS Mysore began issuing application forms for admissions to Nursery to Class IX for the year 2019-20 in the month of October this year. The application form can be downloaded from the school website. Registration can also be done online. The form can also be obtained from the school office.
The duly filled application form needs to be submitted along with the following documents.
- Copy of the Birth Certificate issued by the Municipality.
- Copy of the report card of the previous class for Class I-IX admissions. This is necessary to prove that the student has obtained the pass marks for promotion to the next class.
- Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate if applicable.
- One passport sized photograph of the student and one each of the parents.
The admission procedure would be communicated to the parents at the time of submission of the application form and other documents.
Original Transfer Certificate needs to be submitted after admission before the commencement of the academic session.
Fee Structure

School infrastructure
The classrooms are spacious and airy with an individual desk and chair at the disposal of each and every student. The laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology are well-equipped. The school buys new and latest instruments, specimens and chemicals at the start of every new academic year. The labs are perfect avenues for students to develop a liking for Science subjects. Computer lab of the school has modern computer systems connected with high-speed internet. The lab also has a projector for aiding lectures.
The school library is stocked with a collection of about 4000 books spanning everything from science fictions and novels to children’s story books and encyclopedias. The students can get books issued for themselves from the library for a fixed time period. The students are also asked to write book reviews of the books they have read for displaying on the display board.
The school provides buses for transporting children from different areas in a range of 40kms from the campus. The buses are equipped with GPS systems to enable tracking. Lady helper is present to look after the children.
CCTV cameras are installed in classrooms, playground, library and the labs to enable the Principal and the non-teaching staff to monitor the children.
Extracurricular activities
Regular yoga classes and PT sessions are conducted to keep the children in a robust physical and mental state. The students are also trained in various sports such as football, cricket, table tennis, etc. Many hobby classes are also slated to begin soon.
