My city Noida which is an abbreviation of New Okhla Industrial Development Authority is an urban city and a metropolitan city. It is one of the smartest cities and is a developed city. It is also a part of the National Capital Region which is commonly known as NCR. Noida came into existence in the year 1975 on 17th April. And every year on 17th April, my city celebrates Noida Day. The city was created by the UP development and it was initiated by Sanjay Gandhi. It is also one of the cities in the NCR region with the highest capital income. It is a green city and the roads are planted with various trees on the roadside. The city is covered with Greenery and it looks fresh and breeze. It is located in the region of Uttar Pradesh and hence it has all its administrative headquarters in Greater Noida. My city Noida was ranked as the best city in UP and also the best city for housing in the country. Noida has also replaced Mumbai as the second best destination of reality. It has also become a hub of many IT, BPO’s, BTO companies.

The Geography of My City Noida

The city is in the Gautam Buddha Nagar District of UP. It is also 25 kilometers from New Delhi and just 20 kilometers from Greater Noida. The city is also bounded by the river – Yamuna and on one side it is bounded by the river- Hindon River. The soil of Noida is very rich and loamy.

Infrastructure

My City Noida is amongst the cleanest cities in India and it ranks 17th. The city is also fifty percent green and it has a lot of trees, which helps in circulating fresh air. The city is located in the floodplains of the river Yamuna and Hindon river. The city was developed in the year 1975 and since then the city has been growing. It is also a hub of many Multinational companies. In the year 2014, the region was given 20,000 crore rupees for its development and infrastructure. It is also the richest city in Uttar Pradesh. The city also has many colleges such as Amity, Sharda University, Symbiosis International University, Jaipuria Institute of Management and many other colleges, which attracts a lot of students from across the country. The city also has many major news channels and it is very corporate.
