Delhi Public School Gwalior is located on the outskirts of Gwalior city at a place called Rairu. The school was established in the year 2006 and comes under the DPS Educational Society. The school campus covers an area of 22 acres. The current strength of students in the school stands at 3000 managed by a staff numbering 300 employees. The school is affiliated to the CBSE board like other DPS schools. DPS Gwalior has been ranked No.1 school in Gwalior and No.2 in the state of Madhya Pradesh by Education World and digital learning magazine.
Facilities for the students
The Science block of the campus has three Science laboratories dedicated to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Practical learning is an essential part of Science subjects and the well-equipped labs are very important in this direction. The labs are managed by lab in charges and lab assistants. Three classes equipped with audio-visual aids for lectures are also present in the block alongside the labs. There is also a Science park which helps students in developing an interest in Science subjects. An EVS laboratory is also present for junior students where they can conduct experiments. DPS Gwalior regularly organises Science Olympiads, Science workshops, Science models exhibitions and other similar events.
Language lab of the school has extensive study materials along with CDs and other multimedia sources to help the students in learning correct pronunciations of English and Hindi. The students get to hear speeches and watch documentaries to polish their language skills. The lab is also the place where the students can indulge in various activities such as role plays and mimes.
The Activity room has been specifically designed for Nursery students. The room has a plethora of toys and games for the students. Smart class featuring in the activity room enables the young students to watch cartoons, moral stories, educational videos and much more. The students are encouraged to speak on mics present in the room to help build their confidence in public speaking. Puppet shows and other activities are held from time to time in the activity room.
The Art school present in the campus is the place where the students can give wings their creative talents. The students are taught oil painting, glass painting, spray painting, sketching, making craft works and much more.
Extensive facilities are available for the student for different sports such as football, basketball, cricket, skating, lawn tennis, track and field events and much more. Facilities for indoor games such as carom, chess, table tennis, Tai Kwon do, etc. are also available in the school. Fencing has been recently added to the list of sporting activities in the school. The students regularly participate in Inter school, State and National level sporting championships.
The school has a fleet of buses equipped with CCTV cameras and first-aid boxes. The buses are monitored at all times.

Admissions
Admissions to Nursery, LKG and UKG are granted on the basis of interview with the students. Written test is conducted for admissions to Classes I-X. An aptitude test in the chosen stream is conducted for admissions to Classes XII and XII.
