Delhi Public School Bhopal is a co-educational school established in the year 2000. The school is currently run by both Delhi Public School Society and Jagran Social Welfare Society. DPS Bhopal has a strength of 5777 students. It is affiliated to the CBSE and Indian Public School’s Conference (IPSC). DPS Bhopal has secured second rank in the Education World India School Rankings for Bhopal in the co-educational and the boarding school category for this year.
DPS Bhopal is also a recipient of the “Best School of Madhya Pradesh” award by the Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The Twitter Zone is the campus for students of Classes I and II. The campus has been specifically designed for small children with bright classrooms, individual lockers, covered playing area, overlooking balconies, art and craft rooms, computer lab and activity room. There is also an AC auditorium in the zone.
Middle school block houses Classes from III to X. This block has everything necessary for growing children, such as library, computer lab, language lab and art and music rooms. Middle school caters to each and every learning requirement of the students of this age.
Junior College section of the school is a separate zone of the senior students studying in Classes XII and XII. The school building in this section consists of tiered classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with Educomp facilities. The building has separate science and computer laboratories and a library for exclusive use by the senior students. The curriculum and teaching methodologies have been designed with the aim of making the students well prepared for facing the all important board examinations and competitive exams.
DPS Shiksha Kendra is a campus for the underprivileged children. The classes in Shiksha Kendra are held after the completion of the morning classes. The children are provided free uniform, books and transport. The classes and other infrastructure such as furniture, computer room, audio-visual aids, play area, music and dance rooms, etc. are same as in other parts of the campus.
Thus, this campus enables poor children to get quality education and hone their talents for a bright future. Currently, there are 260 students studying in the Shiksha Kendra.
DPS Bhopal has a boy’s hostel for students studying in Classes VII-XII. The hostel started functioning in the year 2008. The hostel block is located within the campus. Each room is shared by three students of similiar age. Every student is provided his own personal almirah and box bed. Each and every student also has his own study table and chair. Meals are served in the mess at fixed timings. The hostel has a fixed routine which needs to be followed by the students. The hostel warden stays in the block and is responsible for the well being of the students.
The hostel has been provided with round the clock security which prevents any unauthorised person from entering the building. The capacity of the hostel currently stands at 100.

Registration for the year 2019-20 admissions is open. The form can be filled online. Registration fee is Rs 3180 which is non-refundable. Students are selected on the basis of an entrance test followed by counselling.
