Teaching methodology
An Early childhood years programme of the school for Nursery, LKG and UKG uses Maria Montessori International Primary Programme to teach English, Mathematics and Hindi to the students. Learning is made interactive with the aid of LED TVs, computers, toys and other aids. The children are also taken on regular trips and picnics to make schooling all the more enjoyable for the tiny tots.
A Primary years programme for Classes I-V and Middle years programme for Classes VI-X adheres to the CBSE curriculum and ensures that the students become academically competent enough to face the tough challenges of Class XI and XII.
DPS Jagdalpur also holds remedial classes for students who are not academically strong and require extra efforts on the part of the teachers to understand the subjects.
Facilities for the students
DPS Jagdalpur has a well stocked library featuring books of all genre, study materials and interactive CDs. The library inculcates reading habit in the students and is a good source to gather information for their project works.
Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computers are equipped with all the essential equipments required in a modern lab. The labs enable the student to get a practical knowledge of the theories they have studied in their classrooms.
The school has a clinic on the campus with a nurse for providing immediate first-aid to children during medical emergencies. The school also has links with doctors in the surrounding areas for swift consultation for urgent medical needs. Regular medical checkups for students are also conducted by the school.
Transportation facility is also available for the students in the form of school buses. The school buses pick students from all areas of the city. The drivers are well trained and licensed.
The school has vast playgrounds for various playing outdoor sports such as football, cricket, basketball and many more along with indoor court for badminton and a gymnasium.
Music instruments such as guitar, piano, drum, etc, are also available for the students to learn music. Thus, there is no dearth of extracurricular activities for the students in the school.

The registration forms can either be obtained from the school website http://dpsjagdalpur.in or from the school office. The completed form needs to be submitted with the school before the deadline. Registration is not a guarantee of admission. Admission is granted on the basis of the academic performance of the student.
