Delhi Public School, Bilaspur was established in the year 2004 and is affiliated to both CBSE and AISSE board. The school has created a name for itself in the field of quality education with infrastructure and facilities matching international standards. DPS Bilaspur has classes starting from pre-nursery right up to Class XII. The school is open for both scholars as well as boarders.

Eligibility

Students seeking admission for the session 2019-20 must fulfill the following age criteria as of 1^st April in the current year.

• Pre-nursery students- 2 ½ years
• Nursery-3 ½ years
• Prep classes-4 ½ years
• Class 1- 5 ½ years and above

Admission is open for pre-nursery to Class XII in case of day scholars and Class V to Class XII in the case of boarders.

What is the registration process?

The registration form can be downloaded from the website http://www.dpsbilaspur.com. Duly filled form needs to be submitted with the school along with a non-refundable registration fee. Online payment facility of registration fees is also available for the guardians. The documents required to be submitted along with the registration form is as follows.

• Copy of the birth certificate of the child.
• Photocopies of the report cards of last two academic years of the previous school that the child has attended.

An online enquiry form is also available on the school website which allows the parents to submit their queries regarding admissions.

Admission process

Students seeking admission in Class VI and above are required to clear a written admission test featuring questions from English, Mathematics, Science and any other subject decided upon by the school authorities. In case of admissions to Class V and below, only verbal interaction and interview with the principal is required.

Students are granted admission on the basis of their marks in the written test or performance in the interview. The number of seats available in each class is another important deciding factor. The school management and the principal reserve the right to grant admission and even refuse admission without giving reasons.

Students found eligible for admission are required to submit the following documents to claim their seats.

• 3 passport sized photographs of the student and one photograph each of both the parents.
• Evidence of the date of birth if not submitted.
• Original transfer certificate from the previous school.
• Evidence of promotion from the previous class to the present class.

Failure to provide the above mentioned documents may result in cancellation of admission. The seat is then offered to the next student on the waiting list.

Facilities

The school has 78 spacious classrooms with a capacity of 30-40 students. Classes 1-12^th have been divided into 4-6 sections. There are 4 prep-classes, 3 nursery and 2 pre-nursery classes. The classes have been digitised with the help of EDUCOMP smart classes.

Well-equipped science and computer labs, language rooms, music rooms, etc. are other facilities available in the school.

Separate boarding facilities are available on campus for both boys and girls.
